In the process for cooling OBM injectors in coal gasification plants, a carbonaceous fuel and/or oxygen, shielded by a cooling protective medium, is introduced into a bath of molten iron. The protective medium used is a sewage sludge.

Bei dem Verfahren zum Kühlen von OBM-Düsen in Kohlevergasungsanlagen wird ein kohlenstoffhaltiger Brennstoff und/oder Sauerstoff ummantelt von einem kühlenden Schutzmedium in ein flüssiges Eisenbad eingeleitet. Als Schutzmedium wird ein Klärschlamm verwendet.
