The invention relates to a spectacle glass edge-grinding machine having a grinding wheel (2) driven by a motor (4). The object of the invention is not only to be able to determine the relative contact pressure of the spectacle glass against the grinding wheel better than hitherto, but also, for example in the event of an electronic or electrical control of the movement of one of the two said parts, to be able to control this movement without difficulty. The intention is that the overall design of this machine should be simple. This object is achieved, according to the invention, in that the motor (4) and the grinding wheel (2) are adjustable in the horizontal plane, in two directions perpendicular to each other, relative to the spectacle glass (1) which is mounted stationary. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brillenglasrandschleifmaschine mit einer von einem Motor (4) angetriebenen Schleifscheibe (2). Ihr liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, sowohl den relativen Andruck des Brillenglases gegen die Schleifscheibe besser als bisher bestimmen zu können als auch z. B. bei einer elektronischen oder elektrischen Steuerung der Bewegung eines der beiden genannten Teile diese Bewegung ohne Probleme beherrschen zu können. Insgesamt soll hierbei die Maschine konstruktiv einfach gestaltet sein. - Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe sieht die Erfindung vor, daß der Motor (4) und die Schleifscheibe (2) in horlzontaler Ebene in zwei zueinander senkrechten Richtungen gegenüber dem ortsfest gelagerten Brillenglas (1) verstellbar sind.
