Un procédé et un dispositif pour le prépositionnement lors de la mise en et/ou hors impression d'une et/ou de plusieurs stations d'encrage (1), en particulier des cylindres d'impression tels que cylindres clichés (9) et ensembles cylindres tramés (12) - cylindres barboteurs (13) d'une imprimeuse, notamment d'une imprimeuse flexographique dont le dispositif comporte des moyens pneumatiques (14,22) provoquant le déplacement rectiligne du ou des cylindres clichés (9) et/ou du ou des ensembles cylindres tramés (12) - cylindres barboteurs (13) pour leur prépositionnement soit automatiquement par action de moyens de décomptage de présélection (28,29), soit manuellement par des boutons-poussoirs (30,31,32,33), par l'intermédiaire d'un commutateur de sélection (34).
