1. Method of installing a stationary platform off-shore and of the type consisting in forwarding a superstructure through floating to the platform set-up site, positioning this superstructure above an understructure resting already on the sea bottom and lowereing the superstructure to provide for its positioning onto the understructure and thus erecting the said platform, characterized in that the said superstructure being initially provided with removable provisional floats, it is conveyed with a barge to the proximity of the understructure, the barge is sunk or immersed to a depth sufficient for allowing the floating of the superstructure owing to its provisional floats, the superstructure is then conveyed through floating to above the understructure and then after lowering of the superstructure to bring it into engagement with the understructure and after assembling both structures together, the provisional floats are withdrawn from underneath the superstructure.

La présente invention concerne un procédé d'installation d'une plateforme fixe en mer ainsi qu'une superstructure de plateforme pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé. La superstructure (1) permettant de construire une plateforme selon l'invention est munie de flotteurs provisoires ou démontables (6) permettant notamment le positionnement horizontal et vertical de la superstructure (1) sur une infrastructure (10) reposant sur le fond (12) de la mer (13). Le procédé de l'invention s'applique à la réalisation de plateformes fixes en mer pouvant recevoir des installations industrielles diverses.
