Abstract (en)
[origin: US4497584A] A case body is fixed to a glass by means of an interposed ring of a vulcanizable elastomer, this ring being bonded by vulcanization either directly to the glass or to a metallized coating applied to the glass, as well as to the upper surface of the case body. The metallic coating is applied to an annular zone at the periphery of the underside of the glass. Instead of this coating, the inside surface of the glass may be frosted in that zone.

Le corps de boîte (1) est lié au verre saphir plat (7) par l'anneau intercalaire (14) qui est en un élastomère vulcanisable et qui est lié par vulcanisation au revêtement métallique (13) et à la surface supérieure (6) du corps de boîte (1). Le revêtement métallique (13) est une zone annulaire à la périphérie de la surface inférieure (8) du verre. Au lieu de ce revêtement, on pourrait prévoir de dépolir la surface intérieure du verre (7).
