The variation results from the utilization of all or part of the profile of the alternating cam (9) of which the motion about the axis (14) is provided by the rotating leading cams (10, 11) by contact of the rollers (12) and is transmitted to the roller (8) which acutates with its shaft (13) the rocker arm (3) of the valve (6) returned by the spring (7). The adjustment is carried out by positioning the sprocket wheel (8) by means of the support arms (15) of the shaft (13) which are keyed to the control shaft (14) by means of pins (16).
