Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0098189A1] 1. A device comprising pyrotechnic actuation, of the type including a body (10) which houses an assembly (100) formed by two elements of the striker and primer-holder type which are capable of being brought into contact in order to proceed with firing of the device, and an actuating lever (200) which is fixed with respect to the striker or the primer holder and which is adapted to produce relative longitudinal displacement of the two elements, under the effect of the force of a resilient member (150), when it has been pivoted through a given angle, characterised in that a first element (110) which is fixed with respect to the actuating lever (200) is provided with a structure (119) in the form of a ramp, against which the second element (130) bears, said ramp (119) being of such a configuration as to cause the second element (130) to move away by longitudinal displacement and to cause compression of the resilient member (150), when the lever (200) is pivoted through a predetermined angle, while permitting movement towards each other and percussion of the two elements (110, 130), under the effect of the force of the resilient member (150), when the actuating lever (200) is pivoted through a given additional angle, and that the first element (110) which is fixed with respect to the actuating lever (200) comprises a bolt member having a closure portion which closes off a firing passage connecting the primer (134) and a priming relay (19) until the pivotal movement of the lever reaches said predetermined angle.
