[origin: US4481759A] The present invention relates to a process for making a core spun yarn, wherein elementary fibres are projected onto a yarn, the yarn being subjected to the action of a false twist spindle. The projection of the fibres is obtained by means of a mobile guiding surface on which the fibres are delivered tangentially and are maintained paralleled and flat. Furthermore, the core is delivered tangentially on the paralleled fibres obliquely and in the direction of displacement of said fibres. The invention also relates to a device for carrying out this process.

Procédé pour la réalisation d'un filé à âme selon lequel on projette sur un fil (3) des fibres élémentaires (11), le fil (3) étant soumis à l'action d'une broche de fausse torsion. La projection des fibres (11) est obtenue au moyen d'une surface de guidage mobile (10) sur laquelle les fibres (11) sont délivrées tangentiellement et sont maintenues parallélisées et à plat. Par ailleurs, l'âme (3) est amenée tangentiellement sur les fibres (11) parallélisées en biais et dans le sens de déplacement desdites fibres.
