1. Bei den Formverfahren und der Einrichtung zur Herstellung von großformatigen Fromballen zum kastenlosen Gießen wird in einem ersten Schritt das Modell (1) mit einer Lage Naßsand (5) umgeben, die über eine Elastikfolie (10) in der kombinierten Preßstation verdichtet wird. Im zweiten Schritt wird der Hinterfüllsand (6) eingebracht, der überstehende Sand wird abgefräst und der Ballen wird in der Preßstation (11) endverdichtet, wodurch eine gleichmäßige Gießform entsteht. Der Formballen des Oberkastens (4) ist gegen Herausfallen gesichert und wird beim Zulegen automatisch entsichert.
