Abstract (en)
A container has a frame including upper and lower tubular rail members 15 and 16 a corrugated side plate whose troughs are closed externally by perforated cover plates 54. Each rail member 15, 16 has a first longitudinal groove 22 formed in the inner wall, a second longitudinal groove 26 formed in the outer wall, perforations 40 in the lower wall 34 of the groove 26 and perforations 38 formed in the upper wall 28 of the groove 22, the inner and outer perforations being interconnected by a ventilating channel 36 partly defined by walls 30 and 32 of the grooves. Drain holes 44 allow the escape of moisture. Additional ventilation is provided by the perforations 80 in the plates 54 and perforations 84 in the side plate, baffles 62 being located between the perforations.
