The edge-grinding machine has a grinding disc (13) and a motor (7, 8) which drives the latter. The object of the invention is to provide a constructionally simple and cheap machine which is space-saving and maintenance-friendly, has a beneficial behaviour during operation and can also be used to carry out additional operations, preferably grinding, in particular by hand. For this purpose, provision is made that the motor (7, 8) is an external-rotor motor and the grinding disc (13) is fitted directly on the rotating rotor (7). <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Brillenglasrandschleifmaschine, insbesondere Handschleifmaschine, mit einer Schleifscheibe (13) und einem diese antreibenden Motor (7, 8). Ihr liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine konstruktiv einfache und billige Maschine zu schaffen, die platzsparend und wartungsfreundlich ist, ein günstiges Verhalten beim Betrieb zeigt und mit der auch zusätzliche, vorzugsweise Schleifoperationen, insbesondere von Hand, durchführbar sind. - Hierzu ist vorgesehen, daß der Motor (7, 8) ein Außenläufermotor ist und die Schleifscheibe (13) unmittelbar auf dem umlaufenden Läufer oder Rotor (7) angeordnet ist.
