Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0099542A2] 1. Spray-filling device particularly for repairing the lining of melting furnaces, foundry ladles or the like, which device is adapted to spray-fill the inner wall (12) of a cavity substantially presenting rotation symmetry with a material adhering on this inner wall, comprising a) a carrier (16) movable into the cavity by displacement means in the direction of the displacement, b) a material spraying device (18), which b1 ) has a spray nozzle (22), b2 ) is rotatably mounted on the carrier (16), b3 ) is rotatable about an axis (26) parallel to the direction of the displacement through a driving motor (24) located on the carrier (16), c) a sensor (28), which responds to the burn-out of the inner wall (12) and d) which is controlable by the driving motor (24) such, that the rotary movement of the material spraying device (18) is retarded when the sensor (28) responds, characterized in that e) the spray nozzle (22) is radially movable and f) an actuating device is provided for adjusting the spray nozzle (22) to hold the spray nozzle (22) always substantially at a predetermined optimal distance from the inner wall (12).
