[origin: US4675860A] Multiplexer-demultiplexer device for wavelengths in an optical transmission fiber (6) for introducing therein a wavelength from an emitter (18) and for extracting wavelengths therefrom towards receivers (19), comprising several spherical mirrors (13-14) at least one of which (3) is a selective mirror with dielectric layers, selected to segregate by transmission or reflection a band containing only one of the wavelengths transmitted, or to be transmitted, by the fiber (6). The invention applies to telecommunications employing optical fibers.

Dispositif multiplexeur-démultiplexeur de longueurs d'onde dans une fibre optique de transmission (6) pour y faire pénétrer une longueur d'onde en provenance d'un émetteur (18) et en extraire des longueurs d'onde vers des récepteurs (19). Il comporte plusieurs miroirs sphériques (3-14) dont un au moins (3) est un miroir sélectif à couches diélectriques, déterminé pour séparer par transmission ou réflexion une bande ne contenant qu'une seule des longueurs d'onde transmise ou à transmettre par la fibre (6). L'invention s'applique aux télécommunications par fibres optiques.
