A protective toe-cap comprising a domed member adapted to lie over the toes of the wearer and having an open end to receive the toes, said domed member comprising a formable polymeric composition, optionally reinforced with randomly disposed fibres characterised in that the domed member is reinforced with uniaxially aligned continuous fibres bonded to the formable polymer of the dome member.
