[origin: EP0100279A1] The invention relates to the manufacture of furniture by bending cardboard or comparable materials. The aim of the invention is to obtain a cupboard, dresser or piece of furniture of the same kind from a small number, for example two, of precut blanks provided with folding lines. The blanks may be transported in a flat position and assembled on site, the piece of furniture being then dismountable so as to transport it again to another place. A first blank is used to obtain the front face (1), the sides (10), the bottom (2) and the front part (6) of the upper face. A second blank is interconnected in the first blank to form the back face and the remaining part (22) of the upper face. Notches insertable into each other provide for the rigidity of the assembly.
