Abstract (en)
This apparatus makes it possible to transfer, in particular, heavy and unmanageable sheets (22) without human effort from a stacking device and feed them to a folding press (1) for machining. Using universally rotatable tongues (16) which can be moved to and fro and a turntable (24) which can be moved up and down, each metal sheet (22) can be rotated directly around a horizontal axis and/or indirectly turned around a vertical axis with repositioned grips. This makes it possible to push each edge of the metal sheet (22) into the working region of the tool for an upward or a downward bend. A vertical carriage (10) which can be moved upwards also makes it possible to lift the limb of an already existing downward bend over the mould (4). The amount of feed necessary for a particular length of limb is fed from the tongue support (17) by means of a linear measuring system directly to the console (15). <IMAGE>

Mit dieser Vorrichtung können vor allem schwere und unhandliche Blechtafeln (22) ohne menschliche Kraft von einer Stapeleinrichtung übernommen und einer Abkantpresse (1) für die Bearbeitung zugeführt werden. Mittels universal drehbarer und hin- und herbewegbarer Zangen (16) und eines auf- und abbewegbaren Drehtisches (24) lässt sich jede Blechtafel (22) um eine horizontale Achse direkt wenden und/oder um eine vertikale Achse, mit neuem positioniertem Fassen, indirekt drehen. Damit ist es möglich, jede Kante der Blechtafel (22) für einen Aufwärts- oder einen Abwärtsbug in den Arbeitsbereich des Werkzeuges zu schieben. Ein nach oben verschiebbarer Vertikalschlitten (10) gestattet auch, den Schenkel eines bereits vorhandenen Abwärtsbuges über die Matrize (4) zu heben. Das für eine bestimmte Schenkellänge nötige Vorschubmass wird vom Zangensupport (17) mittels eines linearen Messsystems unmittelbar zur Konsole (15) abgegriffen.
