Halogen-free, flameproof cable continuing to function for a certain time in the event of fire, with at least one conductor, each of these being surrounded by an insulating polymer layer and a heat-resistant layer comprised of inorganic material and being embedded in a heat-resistant filler layer forming an inside jacket and surrounded by an armour over which a sheathing forming an outside jacket is disposed, characterized in that the heat-resistant layer surrounding the conductors is directly applied onto the conductors and consists of a firstly wound-on layer of mica and a layer of glass silk plaited or wound thereon, and in that the inside jacket consists of a polymer mixture filled with filler materials and, in particular, metal oxide hydrates.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein halogenfreies, flammwidriges Kabel mit Funktionserhalt im Brandfall für eine bestimmte Zeit, mit mindestens einem Leiter, welche jeweils von einer isolierenden Polymerschicht und einer warmefesten Schicht aus anorganischem Material umgeben und in eine einen Innenmantel bildende wärmefeste Füllschicht eingebettet sind, welche von einer Armierung umgeben ist, über welche eine einen Außenmantel bildende Umhüllung aufgebracht ist. Zur Lösung der Aufgabe, die Notlaufeigenschaften eines solchen Kabels im Brandfall zu verbessern, ist die die Leiter umgebende wärmefeste Schicht direkt auf den Leiter aufgebracht und besteht aus einer zunächst aufgewickelten Lage von Glimmer und einer darauf aufgeflochtenen oder aufgewickelten Lage aus Glasseide. Der Innenmantel besteht aus einem nit Füllstoffen und insbesondere mit Metalloxidhydraten gefüllten Polymermischung.
