1. Process for the preparation of a hydrolysable titanyl sulphate solution from mixtures of previously ground ilmeniteand titanium(III)-containing raw materials, digestion of the raw material mixtures with sulphuric acid and dissolution of the solidified reaction masses in an aqueous solvent, characterised in that the titanium(III)-containing raw materials are ground in the presence of organic auxiliaries from the group comprising the alkanolamines and/or polysiloxanes.

Es wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer hydrolysierbaren Titanylsulfatlösung aus Gemischen von zuvor aufgemahlenen Ilmenit- und Titan(III)-haltigen Rohstoffen, insbesondere Titan(III)-haltigen Schlacken, Aufschluß der Rohstoff-Gemische mit Schwefelsäure und Lösen der verfestigten Reaktionsmassen in einem wäßrigen Lösungsmittel beschrieben, wobei die Titan(III)-haltigen Rohstoffe in Anwesenheit organischer Hilfsstoffe aus der Gruppe der Alkanolamine und/oder Polysiloxane aufgemahlen werden.
