[origin: WO8302766A1] The invention relates to the lifting of loads or trimming of objects. It is an accessory which enables the temporarily connection of two strap ends, or one strap end to another device, and provided so that no part of said accessory extends beyond the external effective faces of these straps which are connected by said accessory, thereby eliminating the risk of damaging the objects which are handled as well as those which may be contacted by the straps. The invention is comprised of a substantially U-shaped part having very elongated branches (1) receiving the strap ends in the shape of loops, and of a system which may be easily handled, adapted to the ends of the branches and intended to avoid the disengagement of the strap ends, the spacing apart of the branches under the load, and provided with a safety device (2) avoiding the disengagement of said system from the branches of the "U". The invention applies to the lifting and stowing of objects which have to be handled with care, for example the maintenance aground of yachts or pleasure boats.

L'invention concerne le levage de charges ou l'arrimage d'objets. C'est un accessoire permettant de relier temporairement deux extrémités de sangle, ou une extrémité de sangle à un autre dispositif, conçu de telle façon qu'aucune partie de cet accessoire ne déborde des faces externes utiles des sangles qu'il relie et qu'ainsi il ne risque pas de détériorer les objets manutentionnés ainsi que ceux d'une manière plus générale avec lesquels les sangles pourraient entrer en contact. L'invention est consitutée d'une pièce ayant la forme générale d'un "U" aux branches très allongées (1) recevant les extrémités de sangles en forme de boucles et d'un système manoeuvrable aisément à main nue, s'adaptant aux extrémités des branches, destiné à éviter le dégagement des extrémités de sangles, l'écartement des branches sous charges, et doté d'un dispositif de sécurité (2) évitant le dégagement de ce système des branches du "U". L'invention s'applique au levage et à l'arrimage d'objets fragiles, par exemple, à la manutention à terre des bateaux de plaisance.
