Abstract (en)
The rotary-driven foam generator for producing foams for the coating of webs of material for dyeing, printing, coating or treatment of these has a rotor equipped with drivers and a stator, freely movable filling bodies being inserted between the rotor and stator. Even when the rotor rotates relatively slowly, these filling bodies cause considerable turbulence inside the foam generator, thereby ensuring a uniform and constant foaming of the liquor supplied or of the liquor/air mixture supplied. At least one combined liquor/air connection with a tangential liquor supply and centrally arranged air supply blows a liquor/air mixture into the interior of the foam generator in a nozzle-like manner. The foam generator can be equipped with a coating shoe and a continuous coating slit, so that the foam produced reaches the material directly. <IMAGE>

Ein rotierend angetriebener Schaumgenerator zur Herstellung von Schäumen für den Auftrag von Warenbahnen zum Färben, Drucken, Beschichten oder Behandeln derselben weist einen mit Mitnehmern versehenen Rotor auf und einen Stator, wobei zwischen dem Rotor und dem Stator freibewegliche Füllkörper eingelegt sind. Diese Füllkörper bewirken auch bei relativ langsamem Drehen des Rotors eine erhebliche Turbulenz im Innenraum des Schaumgenerators, wodurch eine gleichmäßige und ständige Verschäumung der zugebrachten Flotte bzw. des zugebrachten Flotten-Luft-Gemisches erfolgt. Mindestens ein kombinierter Flotten-Luft-Anschluß mit tangentialer Flottenzuführung und mittig angeordneter Luftzuführung bläst düsenartig ein Flotten-Luft-Gemisch in das Innere des Schaumgenerators. Der Schaumgenerator kann mit einem Auftragsschuh und einem durchgehenden Auftragsschlitz versehen sein, so daß der erzeugte Schaum direkt auf die Ware gelangt.
