Abstract (en)
In all known centrifugal dust removal devices, there are sometimes difficulties in adapting the dust removal performance to current requirements. This applies particularly to small furnace installations with an output of between 0.5 and 10 Gcal/h and the associated dust removal devices. According to the invention, the dust removal performance of centrifugal dust removal devices is substantially improved by using cold gas and/or flue gas as a spinning means. This allows not only any desired spinning motion within wide limits to be generated but, due to the admixture of gas, the flue gas is cooled, and this effectively promotes the dust removal. It is ascribed to a reduced viscosity of the flue gases.

Sei allen bekannten Fliehkraftentstaubern bestehen teilweise Schwierigkeiten, die Entstaubungsleistung zeitgemäßen Anforderungen anzupassen. Das gilt insbesondere für Kleinfeuerungsanlagen mit einer Leistung zwischen 0,5 und 10 Gcal/h und dazugehörenden Entstaubern. Nach der Erfindung wird eine wesentliche Steigerung der Entstaubungsleistung an Fliehkraftentstaubern dadurch erreicht, daß Kaltgas und/oder Rauchgas als Drallmittel eingesetzt wird. Dabei läßt sich nicht nur in weiten Grenzen jede gewünschte Drallbewegung erzeugen, sondern tritt infolge dar Gasbeimischung eine Rauchgasabkühlung ein, die die Entstaubung erheblich fördert. Das wird auf eine verringerte Zähigkeit der Rauchgase zurückgeführt.
