1. Siphon device with a variable flow rate comprising a plurality of inverted U-shaped, independent siphon elements (1) placed between a plane of an upstream liquid (2) and a plane of a downstream liquid (3) of a lower level and the downstream and upstream legs (6 and 5) of which are likely to enter the liquid, characterized in that at least one of the said siphon elements (1) is separately vertically movable between a penetration working position below the level of the upstream liquid (2) and a rest position above this levEl, so as to thus vary the liquid flow section of the said device.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif siphon à débit variable. Le dispositif qui comprend au moins un élément siphon (1) en forme d'un U renversé, placé entre un plan d'un liquide amont (2) et un plan d'un liquide aval (3) de niveau plus bas et dont les branches avale (6) et amont (7) sont susceptibles de pénétrer dans le liquide, est caractérisé en ce que sa section d'écoulement du liquide est variable par juxtaposition d'un nombre variable d'éléments siphons indépendants (1). L'invention est applicable à la régulation de cours d'eau et du niveau de plan d'eau.
