1. Method of constructing reinforced concrete works such as road tunnels, underground galleries, tunnels for underground railways, according to which an open trench is first excavated, in which there are then placed, consecutively and contiguously, prefabricated hollow concrete elements (4) each consisting of a frame, and a filling is finally executed, characterised in that there is used for each prefabricated element a frame, the external faces of which comprise reinforcements (5), that a filler concrete (18) is poured covering the joints between elements and cooperating with the reinforced concrete of the elements (4) and with the reinforcements (5) so as to construct by consecutive stages, and rapidly, a monolithic work, the strength of which is appreciably greater than the respective strengths of the prefabricated elements (4) initially placed and of the filler concrete (18).

On excave d'abord une fouille à ciel ouvert, on y dépose ensuite successivement et jointivement des éléments creux préfabriqués (4) en béton constitués chacun par un cadre dont les faces extérieures comportent des armatures (5), on coule un béton d'apport (18) couvrant les joints entre éléments et collaborant avec le béton armé des éléments (4) et avec les armatures (5) de manière à réaliser par phases successives et rapidement un ouvrage monolithique dont la résistance est nettement supérieure à celles respectives des éléments préfabriqués (4) initialement mis en place et du béton d'apport (18); et on effectue finalement un remblayage. L'élément préfabriqué en béton armé pour la mise en pratique du procédé est constitué par un cadre dont les faces extérieures comportent des armatures (5) extérieures choisies de manière à engendrer une collaboration avec un béton d'apport qui est mis en oeuvre ultérieurement autour des éléments.
