Abstract (en)
1. A bimetal protective switch, which in response to a temperature rise above a preselected value is opened by a bimetal element and which is held in an open state by a resistor that bypasses the switch, characterized in that the resistor (19) is a thick-film resistor and that the contact spring (10), the movable switch contact (11) and the fixed switch contact (12) of the bimetal protective switch are disposed on one side of an electrically insulating carrier (1) whereas the resistor (18) is disposed on the opposite side of the insulating carrier (1) and the latter is apertured between the resistor (18) and the contact spring (10).

Es wird ein Bimetallschutzschalter beschrieben, welcher bei Überschreiten einer vorbestimmten Schalttemperatur öffnet und dann durch einen den Schalter überbrückenden Dickschichtwiderstand 18 offengehalten wird.
