[origin: JPS5920356A] NEW MATERIAL:Monoazo compounds of formula I wherein X is H, lower alkyl; Z is H, halogen, alkyl, acylamino, benzoylamino alkylsulfonylamino; R1, R2, R3, R4 are each H, alkyl with the proviso that at least one of them is always alkyl; R5 is H, (substd.) alkyl, alkenyl, cycloalkyl, aralkyl, phenyl. EXAMPLE:Compound of formula II. USE:Dyes which dye or print synthetic fibers such as polyester or polyamide fibers fast blue. PREPARATION:An amine compd. of formula III (wherein X is as defined above) is diazotized by a conventional method and coupled with a compd. of formula IV(wherein, Z, R1, R2, R3, R4, R5 are as defined above) to produce the compd. of formula I .
