[origin: WO8302991A1] A conduit-break valve for a double hose or conduit is designed to operate under a higher pressure between the hoses or conduits than that prevailing in the inner hose or conduit and than that of the ambient atmosphere. The valve has a valve member (16) which is urged by a spring (24) towards its valve seat (15). A diaphragm or piston device (18) normally maitains the valve member (16) in open position by the action of the pressure in a pressure chamber (22) which is connected to the space between the hoses. At a break of the inner and/or the outer one of the hoses or conduits the pressure in the pressure chamber (22) is reduced and the valve is closed by the action of the spring (24).

Une soupape de protection lors de ruptures d'une conduite pour un tuyau ou une conduite doubles est conçue pour fonctionner lorsqu'il y a entre les tuyaux ou conduites une pression supérieure à celle qui règne dans le tuyau ou la conduite intérieurs et celle de l'atmosphère ambiante. La soupape comporte un organe de soupape (16) qui est entraîné par un ressort (24) dans le siège (15) de la soupape. Un dispositif (18) à membrane ou à piston maintient l'organe de soupape (16) normalement en position ouverte grâce à l'action de la pression régnant dans une chambre de pression (22) raccordée à l'intervalle entre les tuyaux. Lors de la rupture d'un tuyau ou d'une conduite intérieurs et/ou extérieurs, la pression dans la chambre de pression (22) tombe et la soupape est fermée par l'action du ressort (24).
