[origin: WO8303146A1] There is a need for an apparatus for processing a roll of 35 mm transparency film which is compact, inexpensive, easy to use and attractive to the amateur photographer who desires to process his own film. An apparatus is disclosed for in situ processing of a roll of film (142) by applying processing fluid (130) from a rupturable container (128) to a strip of sheet material (112) which is then brought into superposition with the film. The apparatus is provided with a mechanism (252) for rupturing the container of processing fluid, take-up roller (40) for storing the film in superposition with the sheet material and a device (198) for separating the film.
