The present invention relates to a side joint intended to be interposed between two building blocks each having generally continuous side surfaces to be joined. The joint consists of a semirigid structure comprising a central web (12) provided on each of its two surfaces (14, 16) with at least one projection (18) which runs vertically the full height of the joint and is intended to be compressed between the side surfaces of two adjacent blocks that are to be joined. La présente invention concerne un joint vertical destiné à être interposé entre deux blocs de construction qui présentent chacun des faces verticales de joint généralement continues. Le joint est constitué par une structure semirigide comprenant une âme centrale (12) munie sur chacune de ses deux faces (14, 16) d'au moins une saillie (18) qui s'étend verticalement sur toute la hauteur du oint et qui est destinée à être comprimée entre les faces verticales de joint de deux blocs adjacents.
