[origin: FR2523004A1] The method is intended to optimize the lying time of the metal in the dye and is based on the fact that the temperature of the dye at the instant when the metal casting starts is taken into account. For this purpose the dye temperature at that moment is measured and the value found is compared to a preset temperature-lying time table so as to subtract said lying time. The method finds application every time it is desired to produce a series of pieces with a minimum of scraps and an internal production capacity.

Ce procédé a pour but d'optimiser la durée de séjour du métal dans la coquille et repose sur le fait que l'on tient compte de la température de la coquille à l'instant où commence la coulée du métal. Pour cela on mesure la température de la coquille à ce moment et compare la valeur trouvée à un tableau de température - durée préétabli de manière à déduire ladite durée. Il trouve son application chaque fois qu'on souhaite fabriquer une série de pièces avec un minimum de rebut et une capacité de production interne.
