1. Bed with lying surface with two parallel longitudinally directed side parts (2), two transverse parts (3, 4) connecting the side parts at the head and foot end and a mattress support frame located therein having vertically adjustable transverse beams (5), whose top surface forms the mattress support surface, the lying surface being essentially adaptable to a spine longitudinal profile of a bed user, characterized in that the side parts (2) have receptacles (7) for fixing devices (11, 12) extending in horizontal and vertical rows and respecting grid dimensions and that the transverse beams are constructed as horizontal cross bars (5) and the latter can be fixed by means of fixing devices (10) secured in the receptacle (7) independently of one another to side parts (2) in a randomly selectable height within the setting range fixed by the receptacle (7).

Es handelt sich um ein Bett mit dem Wirbelsäulenlängsprofil eines Bettbenutzers anpaßbarer Liegefläche. Die Erfindung geht aus von einem Bett mit zwei parallelen Längsseitenteilen, zwei diese an Kopf- und Fußende verbindenden Querteilen und ein darin gelagertes Matrazenauflagegestell mit vertikal verstellbaren Matrazenauflagegestellteilen, deren Oberseite die Matrazenauflagefläche bilden. Die Erfindung sieht vor, daß die Matrazenauflagegestellteile als längliche, an ihren Längskanten nebeneinander angeordnete über die gesamte Quererstreckung des Matrazenauflagegestells (40, 41, 42) reichende horizontale Querträger (50) ausgebildet sind, die jeweils unabhängig voneinander in beliebig wählbarer Höhe im Bettuntergestell, beispielsweise auf in Längsteilen (40) des Matrazenauflagegestells eingeschraubten durch Drehung vertikal bewegbaren Gewindestangen (45) abgestützt angeordnet werden. Es ist ferner eine Profilabtastvorrichtung mit einem plastisch verformbaren Körper vorgesehen, mit der zunächst ein Negativabdruck des Wirbelsäulenlängsprofils des Bettbenutzers aufgenommen wird und die sodann als Hilfseinrichtung zur Erstellung der Anordnung der Querträger unter Ausbildung der adaptierten Liegefläche des Bettes eingesetzt wird.
