Taximeter having an electronic calculating part (MC), a data store (RAM), an input part (TL) and a system store (EPROM1, EPROM2) as well as a time pulse generator (Z1 or Z2), the actual day time being stored in a day time store (TZ) and being available for indicating and switching purposes, characterized in that for correcting the day time store (TZ) in a specific functional position of the taximeter a first key (T4) allows for correcting the day time store in forward direction within a limited time extent by means of a first auxiliary store (A), in that a second key (T3) allows for correcting the day time store (TZ) in reverse direction to the same extent, provided that a second auxiliary store (B) has reached zero position, which auxiliary store (B) is loaded on each actuation of the first and/or the second key (T3 or T4) and is continuously reset by the time pulse generator (Z1 or Z2).
