[origin: WO8302880A1] A suit-case or a similar box-element has a shock-absorbing and insulating wall comprising an inner tray (1) connected through a frame (5) to an outer skin (2), and foamed plastics are injected in the space between the tray and the skin in such a manner that after foaming it forms a hard shock-absorbing and insulating layer (3). A network (9) may be embedded in the layer of foamed plastics (3), and mountings (7) for tools or instruments can be secured in position by means of discs (8) screwed on shafts of the mountings and pressed against the tray (1) by the pressure in the foamed material. Further, the foamed plastics assist in keeping tray (1), frame (5) and skin (2) together and in maintaining a tight and smooth outer skin (2).

Une valise ou un élément semblable à une boîte possède une paroi isolante et d'amortissement des chocs comprenant un plateau interne (1) relié par l'intermédiaire d'un cadre (5) à une pellicule externe (2), et un matériau en mousse plastique est injecté dans l'espace délimité entre le plateau et la pellicule de telle manière qu'après moussage une couche isolante et d'amortissement (3) se forme. Un réseau (9) peut être noyé dans la couche de plastique mousse (3), et des éléments de fixation (7) d'outils ou instruments peuvent être fixés à l'aide de disques (8) vissés sur des tiges des éléments de fixation et comprimés contre le plateau (1) par la pression du matériau mousse.
