[origin: WO8303360A1] A damping element (1) arranged between the ski surface (2) and the ski binding (3) absorbs the shocks and elastic vibrations resulting from the passage on irregularities of the ground. The damping element facilitates particularly the practice of ski, mainly when taking curves, while improving in general the security at high speeds. Since it has a shock damping and antivibrating effect, the damping device also prevents ski accidents. The damping device comprises a polyurethane layer with on top of it at least one metal layer of aluminum alloy.

Un élément amortisseur (1) disposé entre la surface du ski (2) et l'attache du ski (3) absorbe les coups et vibrations élastiques résultant du passage sur des irrégularités du terrain. L'élément amortisseur facilite notamment la pratique du ski, surtout les courbes, tout en augmentant en général la sécurité à des vitesses élevées. Etant donné son effet antivibratoire et amortisseur de chocs, l'élément amortisseur prévient également les accidents de ski. L'élément amortisseur comprend une couche en polyuréthane et sur celle-ci au moins une couche métallique en un alliage d'aluminium.
