Abstract (en)
Improvement in a wire for a dot printer. The wire is made of a very tough base metal with a very hard, highly wear-resistant film coated onto the base metal. The conventional wire of this type has the technical problem that irregular wear is produced when it is used in a dot printer, this problem is eliminated by covering the base metal with the film.

Un fil métallique amélioré pour une imprimante par points. Le fil métallique est composé d'un métal de base très dur revêtu d'un film très résistant à l'usure. Le fil métallique conventionnel de ce type présente comme problème technique une usure irrégulière en cas d'utilisation dans une imprimante par points. Ce problème est éliminé en recouvrant le métal de base avec ce film.
