[origin: WO8303385A1] Improvement in a wire for a dot printer. The wire is made of a very tough base metal with a very hard, highly wear-resistant film coated onto the base metal. The conventional wire of this type has the technical problem that irregular wear is produced when it is used in a dot printer, this problem is eliminated by covering the base metal with the film.
