The invention relates to a dry storage container of steel for the intermediate storage of spent nuclear fuel elements. On the outer surface and/or inner surface, the dry storage container has a coating of ceramic (3,6). The dry storage container is sealed by a lid (1) that can be welded in. Because of the welding that has to be carried out, the dry storage container cannot be coated in the region of the later weld zone. In order to achieve a ceramic coating which nevertheless covers the entire cavity (8) of the container body, the closing lid (1) is constructed in a U-shaped fashion seen in cross- section, the edge of the lid being perpendicular to the closing lid (1) and forming a weld lip (4). The closing lid (1) is arranged in the opening of the container body (2) of the dry storage container, the end of the edge of the lid terminating with the open end of the container body. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Trockenlagerbüchse aus Stahl für die Zwischenlagerung von abgebrannten Kernreaktorbrennelementen. Die Trockenlagerbüchse weist auf der Außenoberfläche und/oder Innenfläche eine Beschichtung aus Keramik (3, 6) auf. Die Trockenlagerbüchse ist durch einen einschweißbaren Deckel (1) verschlossen. Wegen der zu erfolgenden Verschweißung kann die Trockenlagerbüchse im Bereich der späteren Schweißzone nicht beschichtet werden. Um eine Keramikbeschichtung zu erzielen, die trotzdem den gesamten Hohlraum (8) des Büchsenkörpers abdeckt, ist der Verschlußdeckel (1) im Querschnitt gesehen U-förmig ausgebildet, wobei der Deckelrand senkrecht zum Verschlußdeckel (1) steht und eine Schweißlippe (4) bildet. Der Verschlußdeckel (1) ist in der Öffnung des Behältergrundkörpers (2) der Trockenlagerbüchse angeordnet, wobei das Ende des Deckelrandes mit dem offenen Ende des Behältergrundkörpers abschließt.
