Abstract (en)
A cooking-plate cover is provided with a heat insulation (21). This insulation (21) is arranged between two refractory formations, preferably sheets (17, 19), the side (19) turned towards the cooking plate (3) being corrugated. The upper cover surface (18), which is turned away from the cooking plate (3) is designed as a plane positioning surface for prewarming or keeping warm meals and food. The cooking plate (3) itself is likewise insulated (10). It is equipped with a temperature sensor (9) for the purpose of temperature control. WIth such a cooking-plate cover, the heat loss when not in use of a cooking plate in large kitchens is also reduced, the cooking plate nevertheless remaining in constant readiness for use. <IMAGE>
Abstract (de)
Eine Kochplatten-Abdeckhaube ist mit einer Wärmeisolierung (21) versehen. Diese Isolierung (21) ist zwischen zwei feuerfesten Gebilden, vorzugsweise Blechen (17, 19), angeordnet, wobei die der Kochplatte (3) zugekehrte Seite (19) gewellt ist. Die der Kochplatte (3) abgewandte, obere Abschlussfläche (18) ist als ebene Abstellfläche zum Vorwärmen bzw. Warmhalten von Gedecken und Speisen ausgebildet. Die Kochplatte (3) selbst ist ebenfalls isoliert (10). Sie ist zwecks Temperatursteuerung mit einem Temperaturfühler (9) ausgerüstet. Mit einer derartigen Kochplatten-Abdeckhaube wird auch bei Nichtgebrauch einer Kochplatte in Grossküchen deren Wärmeverlust verringert, wobei trotzdem die Kochplatte in ständiger Einsatzbereitschaft bleibt.
