An axial flow wheel, in particular for an axial flow fan, having a wheel hub which consists of at least one integral cup-shaped semi-shell, to whose plane casing surfaces, which are essentially axially attached to their end face, blades are secured, characterised in that the end face (21) and the casing surface of the semi-shell (2) are designed as parts of an integral blank which is formed from a sheet and has partial casing surfaces (22-27) which are distributed round the periphery of the end face (21) and firstly protrude in a radial fashion and are provided both with fastening apertures for the blades and/or the hub core (1) and possibly further assembly apertures and which are subsequently bent upwards from the plane of the end face (21) into the planes of the casing surfaces by means of straight bending edges (Fig. 1, 2).
