1. Insulating connecting profile for windows, door frames and the like, comprising two metal profiles (1, 2) which are held spaced from one another by at least one insulating web (3, 4) of which the ends are clamped in grooves (8, 9) formed by ribs (6, 7, 10, 11) projecting from the metal profiles (1, 2) into which a rib (10, 11) is pressed by means of a tool, characterised in that a bearing member (14, 15) is arranged shaped to the respective metal profile (1, 2) serving as a guide for the tool for each rib (10, 11) to be pressed on to a web.

Bei der Herstellung von Verbundprofilen für Fensterrahmen u.dgl., deren innere und äußere Profilschiene mittels Stegen aus einem die Wärme schlecht leitenden Stoff verbunden sind, werden zum Einklemmen der Stegenden in durch Leisten gebildete Nuten entweder Andrückrollen oder für jedes unterschiedliche Verbundprofil besondere, diesen Profilschienen angepasste Werkzeuge benötigt, deren Einsatz nur bei Profilschienen bestimmter Ausbildung möglich ist. Erfindungsgemäß werden diese Nachteile dadurch vermieden, daß seitlich der gegen die Enden der Stege (3,4) anzupressenden Nutenleisten (10,11) dem Anpresswerkzeug als Führung dienende, an den Profilschienen (1,2) angeformte Widerlager (14,15) angeordnet sind.
