1. Instrument for applying an adhesive tape in which the reel is enclosed in a case in which it may rotate freely, provided with an outlet slit (2) for said tape and a cutting member, such as a blade, (6), fixed with respect to the case and situated at the end of an arm (3) integral with said case and said arm has two lateral tongues (13) whose free ends form therebetween a space less than the width of the adhesive tape which is held by these latter in the vicinity of said arm (3) after the tape has been cut, characterized in that said tongues (13) are slanted with respect to each other so that each forms an acute angle with respect to the face of the arm situated on the same side as the slit (2) and thus to guide the tape during application thereof.

Instrument pour l'application d'un ruban adhésif du genre de ceux dans lesquels la bobine est enfermée dans un boîtier, dans lequel elle peut tourner librement, pourvu d'une fente de sortie du ruban et d'un organe de sectionnement dudit ruban situé à l'extrémité d'une branche solidaire dudit boîtier, caractérisé en ce que le boîtier (1) comporte, de part et d'autre de la fente (2), des branches (3 et 4) en ce que la première branche présente à son extrémité une courbure convexe (5) et une lame coupante (6) située au-delà de ladite courbure, en ce que les distances séparant ladite fente et l'extrémité de la première branche, d'une part, et la fente et l'extrémité de la seconde branche d'autre part, sont égales et en ce que la face adhésive du ruban est disposée vers la seconde branche (4).
