[origin: WO8303528A1] An outsole (10) comprising a sole component (14) of moldable material molded around an insert (12), which forms at least a portion of the wear surface of the outsole (10). The insert is cut (18), cement is applied to one surface, and, thereafter rigidly placed, cemented surface up, within a mold into which is injected the moldable material at elevated temperature. The moldable material flows around, and, in cooling, adheres to the insert in the mold.

Une semelle extérieure (10) comprend un élément de semelle (14) en matériau moulable moulé autour d'une insertion ou couche intermédiaire (12) qui forme au moins une partie de la surface d'usure de la semelle extérieure (10). L'insertion est découpée (18), un adhésif est appliqué sur une surface, puis il est placé de manière rigide, la surface avec l'adhésif en haut, dans un moule dans lequel on injecte le matériau moulable à une température élevée. Le matériau moulable s'écoule tout autour et, en refroidissant, adhère à la couche intermédiaire dans le moule.
