In a miniaturised circuit breaker with short-circuit and excess current protection and a signal converter for operating and protecting domestic equipment, office machines, production devices and such like, its switching and release mechanism consists of the combination (mounted on a common axis) of a clamping body (5) with an unlatching lever (4) mounted therein, a swivelling contact piece (6) and a driver lever (14) with the functional involvement of a plurality of spring elements which are arranged at a central point underneath the operating mechanics (1-3) and between the hinged armature system (8) and the bimetallic strips (10) and above the arc extinguishing chamber (12), the (additional) changeover contact device (13) and the various switching connections (15). <IMAGE>

Bei einem Geräteschutzschalter in Kleinformat mit Kurzschluss- und Überstromauslösung sowie einem Signalumschalter zur Betätigung und Absicherung von Haushaltsgeräten, Büromaschinen, Fertigungseinrichtungen und dergleichen setzt sich dessen Schalt- und Auslösemechanik aus der gleichachsig gelagerten Kombination eines Spannkörpers (5) mit eingelagertem Entklinkungshebel (4), Schwenkkontaktstück (6) und Mitnehmerhebel (14) unter funktioneller Einbeziehung mehrerer Federelemente zusammen, die an zentraler Stelle unterhalb der Bedienungsmechanik (1-3) sowie zwischen dem Klappankersystem (8) und dem Bimetallstreifen (10) und oberhalb der Lichtbogenlöschkammer (12), der (zusätzlichen) Umschaltkontakteinrichtung (13) und den verschiedenen Schalteranschlüssen (15) angeordnet ist.
