Abstract (en)
The piercing contact is a U-shaped bent part (1) whose raised limbs (2) are designed as piercing blades. The piercing edges (3) provided for this purpose are located on the obliquely lying narrow edges of the piercing blades (2), which thus act as separating surfaces (4), as they force the separated insulating material along the metal stem of the pressed-in conductor, out of the contact zone. <IMAGE>

Der Schneidkontakt ist ein U-förmiges (1), dessen emporstehende Schenkel (2) als Schneidklingen ausgebildet sind. Die hierzu vorgesehenen Schneidkanten (3) befinden sich an den schräg liegenden Schmalkanten der Schneidklingen (2), die hierdurch als Trennflächen (4) wirken, weil sie das durchtrennte Isoliermaterial längs der Metallseele des eingedrückten Leiters aus der Kontaktzone drängen.
