[origin: EP0106366A2] A fuel injection control apparatus for an internal combustion engine for supplying an additional amount of fuel in addition to a basic amount of fuel when an acceleration condition is detected in accordance with a throttle opening change rate. The apparatus calculates a compensation factor of amount of fuel in acceleration on the basis of the present value of the calculated throttle opening change rate and modifies the compensation factor in accordance with the operating condition of the engine to thereby determine the amount of additional fuel on the basis of the modified compensation factor.
