[origin: WO8303767A1] A locking tongue for a retractor type safety belt and a safety belt provided with such locking tongue, wherein the locking tongue has a first slot (12) for the passage of the belt strap (21) transversely through the locking tongue, and a second slot (17) parallel to said first slot, for the passage of the belt strap in contact with a web (16) arranged between the slots and having a curved contact surface. Said second slot is arranged at one side of the web for the passage of the belt strap substantially along the plane of the locking tongue, and this slot has a width (a) perpendicularly to the curved contact surface of the web, which is at least equal to the thickness of the belt strap (21), while the width (b) as measured between two planes parallel to the plane of the locking tongue are less than the thickness of the belt strap.

Langue de verrouillage pour une ceinture de sécurité du type à rétracteur et ceinture de sécurité pourvue de cette langue de verrouillage laquelle possède une première fente (12) pour le passage de la sangle (21) de la ceinture transversalement au travers de la langue de verrouillage, et une seconde fente (17) parallèle à cette première fente pour le passage de la sangle de la ceinture en contact avec une membrure (16) agencée entre les fentes et ayant une surface de contact incurvée. La seconde fente est disposée d'un côté de la membrure pour permettre le passage de la sangle de la ceinture sensiblement le long du plan de la langue de verrouillage, et cette même fente possède une largeur (a), perpendiculairement à la surface de contact incurvée de la membrure, qui est au moins égale à l'épaisseur de la sangle (21) de la ceinture, tandis que la largeur (b) mesurée entre deux plans parallèles au plan de la langue de verrouillage est plus petite que l'épaisseur de la sangle de la ceinture.
