[origin: EP0106919A1] The holder includes a number of stackable rectangular frames (1) with vertical side walls (7) provided with horizontal inner and outer support members (10, 11), each pair of adjacent frames being connected together by a horizontal coupling plate (2). Each frame has vertical projections (11, 12) on its top and bottom for supporting the frames on one another. Each coupling plate has holes (16) near its side edges for passage of pairs of cooperating projections, the thickness of the coupling plate being less than the height of two cooperating projections. The ceramic holder is used for supporting ceramic tiles and the like in a furnace during firing. The holder is rapidly assembled and has a stable construction.
