Abstract (en)

The hull can transform a windsurf board into a catamaran. The board has two shells (1,2) which are mirror images and form the board when assembled. The two shells are retained together by fastenings, but can be released and retained parallel to one another by a deck (20) to form a catamaran. The two shells may be rotated through 90 degrees between their connected and separated positions. The fastenings can be formed by inserts with double flanges engaging in shaped apertures in the boards.

Deux coques (1, 2) étant entr'elles de forme spéculaire peuvent être assemblées de façon coplanaire à l'aide de moyens quelque ce soit, aptes à ce but, de sorte à réaliser une planche à voile chaque coque représentant une moitié longitudinale de celle-ci. Lesdites deux coques (1, 2) peuvent être altérnativement disposées parallélement entr'elles après avoir été renversées de 90° sur leurs axes longitudinaux par rapport à la position coplanaire qu'elles présentent dans la planche à voile et reliées entr'elles au moyen d'une structure d'entretoisement quelque ce soit intérposée (15, 17; 16, 116) de sorte à réaliser un catamaran (13). Dans ce dernier cas, des pattes inclinées (123, 223) sont fixées en proximité des extrémités antérieures des coques (1, 2), du côté extérieur de celles-ci.
