A method of manufacturing a resin-encapsulated wire or foil-type coil for transformers, inductors, magnetic coils or such like, in which the metallic coil material to be used for manufacturing the coil is provided on a part of its surface with prominences, in sections or continuously, which are evenly distributed over the length and consist of a material which is resistant to the non-solidified resin. The coil material is subsequently processed to form a coil and is encapsulated in the solidified resin. The invention also relates to a winding material (wire or foil) where a coating that is evenly distributed over its length is applied to a part of the surface, producing prominences which are continuous or in sections and consisting of a material which is resistant to the non-solidified resin. <IMAGE>

Verfahren zur Herstellung einer in eine Vergußmasse eingebetteten Draht- oder Folien-Wicklung für Transformatoren, Drosseln, Magnetspulen oder dergleichen, bei dem das für die Herstellung der Wicklung bestimmte, metallische Wicklungsmaterial auf einem Teil seiner Oberfläche abschnittsweise oder durchgehend mit Erhöhungen versehen wird, die gleichmäßig über die Lange verteilt sind und aus einem Material bestehen, das gegenüber der nichterstarrten Vergußmasse beständig ist. Das Wicklungsmaterial wird anschließend zu einer Wicklung verarbeitet und in die erstarrende Vergußmasse eingebettet. Die Erfindung betrifft außerdem Wicklungsmaterial (Draht oder Folie), bei dem auf einem Teil der Oberfläche ein gleichmäßig über die Länge verteilter Belag aufgebracht ist, der durchgehende oder abschnittsweise Erhöhungen hervorruft und aus einem Material besteht, das gegenüber der nicht-erstarrten Vergußmasse beständig ist.
