[origin: US4534385A] The invention relates to a levelling device for weaving mechanisms incorporating cams of the negative type. With each oscillating lever there is associated a tipping pawl adapted, under the effect of a control member common to all the pawls, to bear yieldably against the edge of the lever in question and to cooperate with a retaining stop formed thereon. Under these conditions, it is the weaving mechanism itself which furnishes the effort of levelling the heddle frames.

A chaque levier oscillant (4) est associé un cliquet basculant (11) propre, sous l'effet d'un organe de manoeuvre (15) commun à tous les cliquets, à venir élastiquement porter contre le bord du levier (4) considéré et à coopérer avec une butée de retenue (4a) ménagée sur celui-ci. Dans ces conditions c'est la mécanique d'armure elle-même qui fournit l'effort de nivellement.
