[origin: ES272123U] The device for locking the rotation motion of a steering shaft (1) of a motor vehicle comprises a clamping stop with rollers (4) having parallel axes which lock and prevent rotation of the steering shaft (1) in both rotation directions between a cylindrical running path (3) and surfaces (9) inclined with respect to the running path. The rollers are guided in a race (5) free to rotate coaxially with the steering shaft (1). The race (5) may be driven into one of the two stop positions corresponding to the two rotation directions and may be secured in an intermediary position wherein the rollers (4) release the steering shaft (1). All rollers (4) are surrounded by at least one elastic ring (6) which is coaxial with the shaft (1) and presses the rollers against the shaft.

Le dispositif pour le blocage du mouvement de rotation d'un arbre de direction (1) d'un véhicule automobile comporte un arrêt à serrage avec des rouleaux (4) à axes parallèles, qui bloquent entre un chemin de roulement cylindrique (3) et des surfaces inclinées (9) par rapport au chemin de roulement la rotation de l'arbre de direction (1) dans les deux sens de rotation. Les rouleaux sont guidés dans une cage (5) libre de tourner coaxialement à l'arbre de direction (1). La cage (5) peut être entraînée dans une des deux positions d'arrêt correspondantes aux deux sens de rotation etpeut être fixée dans une position intermédiaire, dans laquelle les rouleaux (4) libèrent l'arbre de direction (1). Tous les rouleaux (4) sont entourés par au moins un anneau (6) élastique coaxial à l'arbre (1), qui les presse contre ce dernier.
